Hellow everyone thi is my HijackThis report. Please help me find if there is any setting being hijacked in my system. Thank you. Much appreciated.

I just want to make sure that none of my app is being hijacked because I had been hacked into before. I've changed and reinstalled my OS this time.

I do know (now) the missing files (actually found where they should be) is due to Vista.  HijackThis was designed for XP.

Thanks for clearing that up. What a relief. I've been wondering and suspicious about the missing files. My gravest concern is a hijacked browser(Internet explorer). It's been quite some time since I last used IE. Now I began using IE again simply because there is no 64 bit version of firefox. Well there is one called minefield but that wasn't stable enough and it was not a release version either.

These auto analysis tools do not always tell the whole story.

There is some crafty malware out there!

May be it would help to start Hijack This as admin (right click on the .exe)? It's just a wild stab.
