System check virus
« on: February 04, 2012, 09:07:00 AM »
Lucky me, I got the above virus today. CIS failed to pick it up despite a full scan. My AV was fully updated prior to getting the virus. Help to get rid of it would be much appreciated.

What makes you think you have this virus? What symptoms have you seen.

By the way, if you like you can make sure your computer is infected by following the methods I discuss in How to Know If Your Computer Is Infected.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks.

Oh boy, yes I got it and thanks to the Avast forum, I got shot of it.
Now I am struggling to find out how to get rid of Comodo.

Can you please give more information. What problems are you currently having?

Apologies for the long delay in replying due to holiday.
Comodo was most reluctant to uninstall from my W7 HD and left bits and pieces of title here and there. After a lot of messing around including using Revo I seem to have got rid of most of it leaving just the screen where W7 asks "do I want to allow Comodo to make changes....".
How can I get rid of this?
If I do a search I can't find anything related to Comodo.
