To expand on DaRtH VaDeR's post -  Soon!
I think I have been phished, and since the real site gives an indication with VE (using IE7), this could have been prevented if VE would work properly with IE8.

Not all pages within a site shows the borders, so verify that all pages are true, still wonder about an old request.

To hover over a link on a page and be told if the site the link is taking you to is good or phishing link.
This should also help on reducing hijacking attempts.

Maybe it was reported before......

VE shows pop-up with huge lock+green border for every single https site [may be really annoying for number of people]. Can you add VE option to show verification results only on demand (by moving mouse over padlock)?

I'm not sure if this has been implemented, but couldn't Comodo Site Inspector:
http://siteinspector.comodo.com/app/public/inputURL
be implemented in Verification Engine?

Please let me know if it already has as I am new to this program.

Hi Chiron494 ,

I think that this question was asked already and there were discussions (cannot find it now... in a hurry  Smiley )
VE is providing only the indication of the fact that we are dealing with the legit (not faked site)
And it seems it should stay like that.

The introduction such functionality as in "sites inspectors" , which are analyzing the code of the pages (like Dr.Web link checker ; / Finjan  / Comodo's one ...and others ) could and will slowdown things and sometimes substantially
I hope you tried one of those ...

But that is not the only concern - there are FPs always  ... as usual ... produced by those analyzers.

As I can see it - the main purpose of the Vengine is quite sufficient for what it's designed. Sure, some things can be improved but in what it suppose to do.

Cheers!
