v-engine plugin crashes both firefox and internet explorer on self-signed certs

When used in conjunction with https on self-signed certificate sites, such as webmin configuration frontends, the plugin crashes the browser.
Temporary Workaround: Disable the v-engine plugin in the browser.
Will report back with error-dumps as soon as possible.
