I am still having the same problems as yesterday ie no green broader around my browser when I go to any "trusted sites" yeah I have gone to google.co. uk as well as .com and still nothing

What browser are you using? I do know that VE works with IE but not with IE-shells like Maxthon and AM Browser, but this will change in future.

Are you running VE version 2.3.0.2?

This is the latest realease version and is compatible with IE6 and IE7. There will be a further update (Comodo are stating later this week or early next week) that will add support for FireFox 2.
