This might be a non-issue, but I want to be on the safe side...
Today when I signed out from Gmail, when I came back to the login site (which is where signing out will take you), the green frame and the green arrows towards the logo didn't appear, but simply enlargened the padlock in the right-down corner. However, when I moved the mouse over the logo, the green frame appeared. Why didn't the green frame and green arrows appear by themselves as usual when I had signed out?
Is something not right, or am I paranoid?
