The site
https://us.mcafee.com/root/login.asp?ErrCode=PLEASE_LOGIN
now shows green border. (Thank you.) But its gold lock on the bottom right of the screen shows a statement in very large golden lock that says "Warning! Website identity has not been verified".
So, is this site safe or not?
Hi,
The website should be safe, but it may be that they are using a low assurance certificate. More information can be found here:

Well, if you have VE installed, put your mouse over their logo. If you see the green border then its safe :-)

Thanks, Mike and Melih,
I got it. The site is verified by green border, but it is using a low assurance certificate.
Cheers

Comodo. just to let you know that below institutions are not yet verified by v-engine

Hi Comodo.
In the past I did the request for the following bank:
www.bancomer.com
This is my bank but so far it's not verified by V-engine
the way to access that bank is by either the above address or:
www.bancomer.com.mx
Another Mexican bank is:
www.banamex.com
wich now v-engine verifies (big thanks!)
but it also could be reached by the following address:
www.banamex.com.mx
so it would be nice to have that also verified
is it possible for v-engine to verify?:

Here is one for order business cards and some other stuff.
It works for
http://www.vistaprint.com
but not
http://www.vistaprint.se
I haven't tried the other countries... you can choose them in the bottom of the page.
They use GeoTrust
