Signup is suspended until further notice ?? why?

we have discovered a better way of doing things...
we believe we can have a really cool way of remote managing, hence we suspended the work in the current method. we have a team working on the new method. wish us luck Smiley

Is useranywhere still alive?  The link above seems to be dead.  I'd be very interested in trying this product, even if it is in beta (alpha?  maybe not).

Thanks

G'day The Dean,

The previous public release was an alpha and was only functional for a brief period. Comodo are working on it and we should see something shortly (can't say more - I'd have to shoot you  Wink).

Hang in there - the alpha was really good, excellent screen transfer speeds, easy encrypted connection, reasonable range of remote connection controls - a great first up effort.

Hang in there,
Ewen :-)

Thanks, Ewen.  I will keep an eye out, for it.

Will it serve as a replacement for gotomypc, and can it be used for remote service?  That is, does it allow you full access to the host computer?

And, please, only answer those questions if you do not, then, need to shoot me! Laugh

Sounds great...i can't wait.

In the meantime, do you (or anyone else) have an opinion on LogMeIn Free?  I have the occasional use for a product like this, but not nearly enough to justify a monthly payment to GoToMyPc.  I guess I could by a software package to do it, but a free (or inexpensive) alternative would be nice, for my occasional use.

Any other products (BarracudaDrive?) I should look at, while waiting for User Anywhere?

EDIT:  Just noticed the thread on LogMeIn and other options.

Thanks
