Why is CA's no longer (cross-)signed by USERTrust?

Just out of curiosity, why are new roots including OV SSL and "PositiveSSL 2" are no longer signed by USERTrust?

Because the AddTrust is our most ubiquitous CA. It's been in the Root CA program by Microsoft for just about 3 years now.
