Why is there no version number info on download pages?

Example:

There is no version info anywhere on the page.
SO you donwload it, just to see, wasting bandwidth, and after you download the Setup file, and you right click on it, it gives both:
File Version 5.12.55693.2551 under Company TAB
but it also says
File Version 5, 12, 252301, 2551

And you wonder which it is and why they don’t simply list the version number on the official download page ???

Yes, this is very inconvenient when there is no version number. It must be on web page and the installer file as well.

In 2014, they included the version number after you click through the official download page but there still is no version number on the official download page.

There should be.
