Iam very disatisfied with the services i have received, i purchased a Unified Communications SSL certificate, after installing it  step by step  the certificate didnt work. The technical team is not helpful at all and they sound bored both on email and on phone. I have had my services  down for a whole afternoon as the certificate was missing a private key ( not sure if its my fault) but i thought a good technical team should take me step by step.
I still have not seen the value of what i purchased. I wouldnt recommend Comodo SSL cert to anyone.

Comodo 3.0.16.295 has been working great for months! I use it with Defense+ disabled along with Avast and SuperAntiSpyware Pro without fail.  What I really like is the fact I can run my PC and not have to worry about the XP firewall/adminstrator vulnerabilities. I'm holding on to 32bit XP for dear life! Smiley I'm convinced this is the best firewall you can use! Although, Comodo has a bit of a learning curve, it's well worth the trouble.

Are there any advantages to upgrading to the newest version? I don't want to have to redo my blocked IP list unless a newer revision addresses any major security issues.

Thanks for your tremendous effort and providing a superb firewall for free!

Isn't that what V.Engine does?  Verify the site as authentic?  Or is this an expansion/extension of V.Engine that you are polling about?

I found the website and product features amaizing, although I haven't had time to test it yet. Only thing that I want to express is that I would REALLY like to have bigger screenshots (*click the thumbnails for large scale view) available on the websites, because the thumbnails are not enough to make a good impression.

Thanks in advance...

I have looked at a number of reviews of the new Internet Security combined FW & AV and although the FW always reviews well, there have been many derogatory comments about the AV effectiveness.

This worries me, more as an installer than personally as I don't want to have my users running into virus problems when I hang my hat on Comodo products.

I personally have no evidence of any problems with the AV engine.

Comments and reassurances (?) please.

(Can a Mod please move mine an Jayce's Posts to a new thread in the correct board)

Hey Jayce, Welcome to the forums.
The good thing about Comodo and that really stands out is that nothing is forced apon you - You can install CIS with the components you like, So you can mix and match to your needs.

ok in regards to cavs3.. My personal opinion is that you should be fine with it. It detects most of today's malware and is only lacking the older malware samples.  You'd have to go out hunting for malware to get infected so average surfing should be more than fine and if ever there is a problem you can come on the forums and post about it - It's not unusual to get a reply within the hour Wink

hey jayce I looked at a lot of adverse comments too. Let me tell you that as a new user to Comodo FW & AV, for my money (even though its free lol) it is a very impressive product.

Let me explain: Having had quite a few problems with AVG free I visited various forums and decided to give Comodo a go. After the first day of installation I was surfing the net and Comodo picked up 8 virus threats and dealt with them, just like that - "bish bosh bish", viruses elliminated  Viva Comodo. Although only a 'newbie' to Commodo this has impressed me no end  Grin and I already have the feeling that I can surf the net with total confidence in the product (in all the years of using AVG free it has only ever picked up 2 virus threats!!)  Shocked.

Hope this helps

In this day and age, anything that enhances security is usually a plus.  I use "spoofStick" and also have Verification Engine installed.  I have already experienced a 'spoofed' bank website when I inadvertently made a typo in the URL.  Fortunately with the various security features running I discovered the error before any harm was done.

While I am writing, thanks to Comodo for all their software that helps to secure the safety of my computer.

Please tell you my views???     WOW!

I am from 'the horse and buggy days'!     My entire working life was spent in the years BC (Before Computers), and I actually worked for Australia's leading bank in a country town without electricity in 1952.

I had a Norton Security System installed on my computer UNTIL, the Queensland, Australia, 'Sunshine Coast Computer Club' recommended 'Comodo'

Since uninstalling Norton and installing Comodo I have developed some serious problems which I am at my wits end to resolve.

Is it my fault, or is it Comodo blocking what are legitimate downloads?

Problem:

1. When I start up my computer I get an Error Message that denies me access to Win 32
2. I cannot access my 'Add or Remove' file in Control Panel (so I cannot delete programs
3. I cannot download Adobe, Flash and other programs that allow me to see details of messages or sound?

My views are limited by my inability to cope with problems.    Is it my age or just my lack of technical skills?

How can Comodo help me to resolve my computer problems?  Huh

    Hello there,

From your short description i think you had a nasty virus that Comodo eventually removed. What you see might be the after-effects of that removal. We could provide you a solution if you can name the files that give those errors. Further details might be necessary thou.
An alternative way to solve this is to allow our support technicians to connect remotely to your computer and solve this problem directly. To do this, you can sign up for a free trial of Comodo's Internet Security Pro service. No charge for the first 30 days, and full benefits of the service. More details about this service here: http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/index.html
Also, as Josh stated, please tell us with the Comodo products you are using.
