I've used Zone Alarm for years, in fact the same version 4.x.  I trust it and like it.

On my nb I was using the default XP firewall, which was fine, but I missed the ability to control outgoing traffic.  I've tried COMODO and like it.  I had to work on it a bit to work with my home LAN but I was able to configure it to fit my needs.  And with the support from the forums I found how to backup my configuration.

Over all I am a satisfied client.  In fact I am considering replacing ZA on my other machines with it.

Nice job guys.   Clapping
