Antivirus is PANTS!!!

   There seems to be a problem with the antivirus, I downloaded a valid exe in zip file from internet and antivirus would not install program as it said it contained a virus. when the file was checked with AVG & Avast Pro no virus was reported. I downloaded antivir it also said NO virus. I think the antivirus  engine is pants and needs to be fixed untill then i might uninstall it and use some other.

Hi,

Can you submit the file explaining you think it may be a false positive, using the submit feature in CAVS.

Remember, CAVS is only beta so will contain bugs, and that any heuristics scanner (like CAVS) is more likely to report a false positive, but to be sure you can check the file using an online scanner:
