Might I suggest adding a (possibly customizable) sound alert to your popup alerts?
In games especially you are very likely using a full-screen view. Some games will just 'mysteriously' pause when it attempts to make some connection. A sound alert will positively inform you that Comodo stepped into action, and then you know you must alt-tab to see what the problem is.
Shouldn't be hard to implement, and I love feedback
