I have no idea whether it wil be fixed in v4. Don't expect it before the end of the year.

This seems to be fixed in CIS 3.13.119746.572.
I can start a virtual machine in VMWare Workstation 7.0 (build 203739) without running it as Administrator.
Please post if anyone is still experiencing this issue.

Cheers,
Ledge.

I will say I've experienced issues with starting VMware for a while back with 6.0.x and that COMODO updates completly failed to fix the issue. However, when I upgraded to 6.5 it started working again. Updating VMware instead of updating COMODO seems like the way to go.

My issue with COMODO and VMware was old, I sorted it out an year ago. And 6.5 never had issues with CIS. 7 also seems to be behaving well. I love Aero but wish it was faster(9600GT and StarCraft 1 lags in windows 7 VM)

Any type of game in a VM lags a lot for me.

Even a simple flash game.  Tongue

I installed 3.13.121240.574 and now I am able to start VMware Workstation 7 without admin rights.  Thanks for addressing this issue.  Comodo Rocks!
