i just updated from 3.9 to 3.10 and i noticed that my browser process were not closing. reboot did not help had to manually close firefox and ie. i then just now before i go to bed went to the safesurf 1.0.0.7 and disabled it for all apps then rebooted and checked with firefox it's prosses stopped when i quit. anyone else have similar things happen? i woud test more but i have work tomorrow so i got to get some sleep.

Same thing happening here, after closing IE (tested both 7 and 8 ) and firefox (portable and installed),
a process taking up 50% (on a dual-core CPU) remains running.
Not happening with chromium, maxthon or opera. Just did a system restore to yesterday and disabled comodo updating for now.  XP SP3, testing with Vista tomorrow , likely with a slightly newer CIS build.

Bonjour,
J'ai procédé à la mise à jour de la 3.9 vers la 3.10 via l'updater de CIS sur 2 PC sous Vista (1 en 32bits et l'autre en 64 bits). Tout s'est déroulé sans PB, reboot après install etc...Tout mes paramètres étaient conservés, la base antivirus à jour, bref tout semblait correct.
Un petit blème quand j'utilise Internet Explorer; au chargement d'IE, pas de soucis, naviguation, idem, plusieurs onglets ouverts, çà roule toujours. Par contre quand je ferme IE (sur les 2 PC), le proc de chaque bécane tourne presque à fond et un tour dans le gestionnaire de tâches m'indique que les instances d'IE sont toujours en mémoire. La seule façon de faire tomber l'utilisation des procs et de tuer IE.
Je suis donc revenu à la 3.9, là IE se ferme et les procs sont entre 1% et 5%.
Quelqu'un a t-il constaté ce même phénomène ?. Ai-je loupé quelque chose au niveau de la config CIS ?.

It's a known issue between Safe Surf and CIS. You can however uninstall Safe Surf as the memory firewall is now integrated in CIS. The Ask toolbar is now replaced by the new Hopsurf toolbar.
