I just posted this, but after I did updating from within CIS, guard32.dll was updated it seems and now my 16-bit app is working again! So looks like next version of CIS will have this integrated. Thanks!
The program update worked for me, too. (still shows .530). Thanks, Comodo!  ilovecomodo

I did a manual update shortly before I posted. If you have auto program updates enabled, CIS may have updated itself. Are you still having problems with 16 bit apps? Note, the Product Version number remains the same after updating (3.10.102194.530).

Did the update fix being able to use DOS apps like command.com and edit.com? If it did, I haven't gotten it and CIS says no updates are available.

I believe that there were 2 CIS 3.10 updates, with the later not updating the version number. However, these were the actual 3.10 releases. The first being suspended due to problems with the update & the second, a re-release if you like, of the update correction (without changing the version numbers). Other than that, I don't believe there have been any further releases.. unless I missed it?

I thought so, but apparently not. Only SOME commands are working from DOS prompt. Still testing, be back shortly.

No joy, only renaming system32\guard32.dll (as Egemen suggested as a temp fix) restores command.com and edit.com, and stops FDM from crashing. Guesss the update is flawed? Huh

Running CIS 3.10.102194.530 on XP. I just did the test and had renamed guard32.dll and all my dos apps were working. I then had CIS updated by forcing it. After the update when I tried the DOS apps I got the same error message again. Renamed guard32 again and the DOS apps started working again.

Windows XP Pro SP 3.  Firefox 3.0.11

After upgrading to the latest version of Comodo (3.10...) I was unable to access a DOS program I use for storing data. Getting an error message of "Attempt to access invalid address"
I have since reverted to 3.9 and the DOS program now works as usual.
Prior to realising that Comodo was the cause, I found I was able to start the DOS program using the utility 'Dosbox'

When I updated Comodo Internet Security yesterday it caused firefox on my computer to get messed up. With the new update, whenever i closed firefox a new firefox.exe process would appear in my task manager. (Im running vista 32- bit) And this firefox.exe was eating up 50% of my CPU. This happened no matter what i disabled on Comodo internet security. And it happened every time i would open and close a new firefox window, it just kept adding more and more "ghost" firefox.exe's until my CPU was at 100%.  So i did a system restore, re-installed firefox and didnt update comodo and everything went back to normal, but now i cant use the updated version of Comodo Internet Security  Cry

Any help would be great, so i can use the new comodo

Edit: I also just tried re-installing firefox before a system restore and the problem was still there (To make sure firefox wasnt causing the problem). And i scanned my computer 100 times for the Poison Ivy virus with comodo and malewarebytes antimalware, and my computer was clean.

If you change the name of guard32.dll and then do an update CIS will download guard32.dll. Change the name of the the file and do an update and CIS will download the file again. Autoupdate will find this file missing and do an update. At least that was my observation last night.

There doesn't seem to be a Bug report section available any more so if this is in the wrong place please move it.
I just installed the latest update to COMODO Firewall (version 3.10.102194.530) and when trying to run any 16 bit program on Windows XP get an error: ATTEMPT TO ACCESS INVALID ADDRESS. The selected 16 bit program will not run.
I rolled back the installed update and all 16 bit programs now run properly...
Would be interested to know if anyone else is having the same problem..
