What do you guys think of BluePoint Security?

The chart on the page I linked to is interesting. "COMODO Internet Security 2010 9.0.0.736"

I'd like to hear your opinions.

Not sure where that chart is, but I suspect that's KIS 2010 9.0.0.736, not CIS. Smiley

Seems a bit sketchy.  Lips Sealed

The chart lists applications that are very old, and not to mention that they list a release number for CIS that doesn't exist (and is apparently the same as Kaspersky)?   Cheesy

And they state, BluePoint does not rely on outdated protection methods, such as definitions, signatures, and/or behavioral detection. and go on to list tests done in January 2010.  Tongue

Please note: I know nothing of the company other than what I see on the linked webpage. I have no idea how it actually performs, I'm just commenting on the outdated and bogus information listed on the page.

The other point to mention is what I have seen a lot of:
They are testing their and other security software and of course theirs is on top.
This testing cannot be taken seriously.
Only independent security testing organizations should be taken more serious.

Also interesting to note that in the chart on their webpage, they've left out some of the products from the actual published chart of the test. (The results are linked to on their page)

One of the products being Online Armor, that scored a 29. I guess they wanted to make more of a gap between themselves and the competition on the chart that they published on their site?

Falsifying information though and publishing it as your in is a crime.
