The main window is never in the same place upon rebooting the computer. It is never centered by default which IMO it should be by default.

I also have this annoyance
It really is about time that the problem was corrected as it spoils what is otherwise a first class application
So please let's have it sorted.

i got the same, maybe not always but still it has a tendency to move from time to time
