good work guys

Hi there,

My current user agent string after update shows:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0 IceDragon/18.0.1.0

So, seems like IceDragon is actually based on Firefox 17.

This bug is still present. It happened again.

Thank you!

Best regards,

Hi,
The IceDragon firefox substring from the useragent, is based on the milestone string. We didn’t rename that particular value ( in Troubleshooting Information->Important Modified Preferences the ‘browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone’ preference value is still 17.0 ).
All the integrations with FF 18 were made, and all the FF changes are included in this IceDragon version, as you can see in Troubleshooting Information → Library Versions are all up-to-date (compared to the ones from FF 17 ).
Thank you.

Awesome

???- Changed Site Inspector to Web Inspector;???
…WHAT web inspector?..
I don’t see any web inspector in my CID18
get it together people, & by the way:

whatever happened to PrivAlert?
“in a couple of weeks” - been over three
I know, I know, it’s another browser, another forum thread, BUT,
it was also declared there would be a version for IceDragon too
so I said something here - not even a “still workin’ on it notification” either
is the deal that ,it’s dead, & yer all hopin’ everybody will just forget about it?

The WebInspector button should be visible in the top right corner of the browser window, below the caption buttons.

If the button is not visible try right-clicking the toolbar and an option to activate it will be available.

Regards.

Default theme is still too heavy on the black. I think that is a “major” GUI issue, not a “minor” one.

(Click the thumbnail to see the screenshot.)

…I think it “looks” fine - a lot better than has been - there’s lotsa contrast so ya can see everything easy…

They have to be very carefully because of the menus’ accent colored texts… I mean, you don’t want a black background with black texts, do you?

I thought this version of IceDragon would have PrivAlert. Guess I was wrong. I still am not sure why they got rid of it. I did not have any instability problems.

Congrats on the release

Hi George-Silviu Blendea,
My WI button is on the left and will not stick at any other location using the customize toolbar function.
Is it suppose to be movable?
Thanks for the update.

Unfortunately, with browser.tabs.onTop set to false, although you fixed the back/forward buttons, you neglected to cater for the other buttons - image

Also, why is the ‘reset’ option removed from about:support?

I’ve been using CID portable for a few months and find it great.

Thank you, COMODO.

A bug I reported in November remains unrepaired in the new CID release:
https://forums.comodo.com/bug-reports-cid/more-information-links-in-extension-blocking-broken-t88657.0.html

The “more information” link in the attached screenshot goes to a non-existing page:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/icedragon/blocked/p182

The correct link is:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/p182

If deleting the invalid “icedragon” subdirectory would take too much work, just replace “icedragon” with a dot. This link works properly:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/./blocked/p182

Hello,
Did the issue reproduce on the blocked add-ons page as reported before, or only on the Add-ons Manager page as shown in the newest screenshot?

Hi,
The WI isn’t supposed to be directly movable, but you can try to move the address bar item to the left of the WI button for example. This will solve the issue.

Hi Alexandru Andrei,
Done easy and quick, much appreciated (Solved). :-TU
Thanks.

I did not get a pop-up message for this blocked add-on. The add-on manager was the only place where the warning occurred.
