Question: Do you want that Comodo Time Machine continue to be developed?
Yes, please, save and keep the technology on.
No. It's not necessary, I'll use whatever Microsoft make for Windows 8.
Never mind, I use other product (concurrence).

I don't see any reasons to use it instead of CTM.
Do you mean CTM 2.x? Well... We're becoming tired of waiting of CTM 3...

Yeah, CTM 2.8 or CTM 2.9 beta.
I'm also eager to get CTM 3.0 though quite happy with the previous versions.

it seems like a common thing with Razvan and his team. we were supposed to get the pro version of CSU like 3 months ago, still nothing

Thank you! Your translation will be included in the next release. We delayed it for a few days because we are waiting for some more translations to be complete.

a few days has turned into many months

I have already told you, you won't see CTM 3.0 until 2013, IF you are lucky!  Especially you won't see it before W8 and then months after that!

Maybe because NOBODY is working on 3.0, that's why.  Who told you there are people working on 3.0 anyway?  Surely not COMODO.

That's enough speculation for the moment. You can't corroborate anything of this so stop spreading disinformation.

Sure, but LisaKelly crossed the line here. Continuous uncorroborated negativity though is not serving anybody and is simply creating spin.

Until further notice I assume there is hard work going on in the Comodo offices. Although I could do with some beta buzz though...

Hello,

COMODO Time Machine 3 is still being developed. We had other priorities so we have to redirect our resources to other projects. In short time we will again concentrate all our efforts on CTM. In about two weeks I will be able to give you an estimate launch date.

Hello,

COMODO Time Machine 3 is still being developed. We had other priorities so we have to redirect our resources to other projects. In short time we will again concentrate all our efforts on CTM. In about two weeks I will be able to give you an estimate launch date.

Firstly Razvan, please allow me to say that I personally like COMODO and their free software.  I never complain seeing something is free.

But wouldn't it be better to avoid giving time frames and just release it whenever it happens?  When people keep saying time frames, then it causes disappointments if they don't occur.

You said in 2 weeks you will give an estimate launch time, but here is the problem with that:

1. 2 weeks may end up being much longer.

2. And even if you give an estimate launch time, that doesn't mean much seeing that launch date can be prolonged by weeks, months or even years.

3. COMODO may get sidetracked again with major projects and CTM3 may even end up being scratched and never being developed to completition.

So...don't say anything, because dates cannot be certain. And it may not end up at all.

That's my 2cents  Grin
