Question: Do you want that Comodo Time Machine continue to be developed?
Yes, please, save and keep the technology on.
No. It's not necessary, I'll use whatever Microsoft make for Windows 8.
Never mind, I use other product (concurrence).

Then people will start screaming bloat...

However it would be nice to have one interface for various Comodo products like Norton used to have.

I haven't used CIS in a while. But I know the old one wasn't so good at removing viruses as much as finding them. The recommendation was to restore your system prior to the virus to fix corruption ec cetera . If CTM where included in CIS you would have a guaranteed fix for stubborn viruses.  As long as they weren't pre existing.

Hmm true, maybe.

When did Norton do that, or do you have a screenshot?  Smiley I think Comodo should consider that since they have a range of free products.

That would Norton up to 2006 or so. Suppose you had the Norton Firewall and would later install the AV and Ghost you would get them together in a unified control center. That worked kinda slick.

It's wiser if CTM is not windows based; if it has it's own "OS" windows malware won't be able to delete it or effect it.

Until there - when a Comodo OS born - can't we see a much more simpler application like CTM working flawlessly? Can't we start an alpha testing NOW?

What people should be asking, is, "When does Windows 8 come out?".  And then add 4-6 weeks to that, and that's when CTM 3.0 will be released.  Wink

I've tried it and it seems to work fine, but I don't know that it's something I could depend on. It doesn't seem like a very polished product yet.

I don't see any reasons to use it instead of CTM.
