Poll
Question: Do you want that Comodo Time Machine continue to be developed?
Yes, please, save and keep the technology on.
No. It's not necessary, I'll use whatever Microsoft make for Windows 8.
Never mind, I use other product (concurrence).

I'm going to load this one up and give it a whirl. Due to the fact I am not 100% sure I have tried it. I will let you know if I have any problems.

"Poll to keep it alive"

Comodo has completely stopped the development of the CTM?
If yes, then what is the cause of this? Really "only" Windows 8?

Anyway my vote  Thumb Up

im not completely sure y development stopped but i agree with you its not a good reason to stop development because of windows 8. first off comodo has made other products that microsoft already has and not everyone will upgrade to 8 so what about the people that stay with windows 7 or even vista

I think it is a great technology.
I think Comodo has very good programmers.
I think they have bought the source code for a good reason.
They released it as freeware. Congratulations.
Why will they stop?

 Idea

If Comodo decides not to continue development of CTM, would they be willing to license the source code under an OSI license and release it to the public for another group of programmers to turn it into a free open source project and keep it going outside of Comodo??? It's not like they'd be losing any money or anything.  Wink Just don't drop such a great product and leave it to rot and die! At least open source it with others and give it a chance at survival. Pretty please with sugar on top.  Grin

this is a great idea. if comodo doesnt want to continue development on CTM then they should give it to someone that does since so many people want to continue using it

Users with Windows XP to 7... they won't have the Windows 8 features.
It's a technology assassination.

I think of it more as a case of suspended adolesence.

I've found other players...
http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/retrospect/retrospect-system-rollback-win/default.html
http://www.farstone.com/software/restore-it.php

And so long... Comodo says it will wait for Windows 8...
