PROBLEM WITH START MENU AFTER INSTALLING SYSTEM CLEANER

- Your Operating System (and whether it's 32bit/64bit)
       Windows SP, SP3, 32 bit (official windows OS, not hacked)
- Security Software Installed:
       CIS 3.5, CMF, Boclean, Superantispyware (realtime active), Antivir (realtime active).
- How you produced the problem:
        Installed system cleaner.
        Cleaned the registry (did not delete the unsafe entries).
        Top of my start menu disappeared (see below)
        Start menu flashed a few times when it was first opened.
        I did not change any of the start menu attributes.
- How you tried to resolve the problem:
       Uninstalled system cleaner and re-booted. This solved the problem.
- Screen-shots with the error:
       See attached.
- Post Memory Dumps on crash if you encounter any:
        None (it did not crash).
- Any other Additional Information:
        I reported this with the previous version also (see this post).

OS: Windows XP SP3 Home Edition 32bit. This is an official copy of Windows XP, It's not a VM or a tweaked XP version.
Security Software: Comodo Internet Security 3.5 & Comodo Safesurf.
-No minidumps
-Screen shot attached and logs attached

No services are disabled, nothing is tweaked and nothing is skinned. Smiley

ISSUE #1: This issue still exists As JimBell also Reported:
- Your Operating System (and whether it's 32bit/64bit);
XP SP3 32 bit.

- Security Software Installed;
CIS 3.5.

- How you produced the problem;
Launching (from the CSC GUI) and using (as I go to Desktop -> Boot, Logon and Wallpaper) Comodo Visual Styler wil generate the message "CreateDevice - Failed".

- How you tried to resolve the problem;
Can't resolve it, I accept the message by clicking OK.

- Screen-shots with the error (if any);
If necessary please ask me.

- Post Memory Dumps on crash if you encounter any;
None.

- Any other Additional Information;
I guess not.

Thanks

LA

ISSUE #2: Disk Cleaner, Registry Cleaner or Privacy Cleaner clears Firefox book marks and restores it to default. I'm pretty sure it's a Disk Cleaner issue, Full logs are attached below.

My Operating System: Windows XP SP 3 (32 bit)

Security Software: Comodo Firewall, McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.7.0.i and Spyware Blaster

How you produced the problem:
After installing the application, I used the option to lock a folder.
When I right clicked the "locked" folder and choose the "Explore" option, I could open it as usual.
If I also right clicked the "locked" folder and renamed it to its original name, I could open it again.

No other info to add...

The cleaning functions, if being used at fully available extent, might destroy essential system start files.
I got no bar after restarting. Tested this on three different PC's (XP).
So, there have to be some "false positives" (don't know, how else to call em right now)

No probs with the latest version of Comodo reg. cleaner before. Now with the "suite", it seems to be a destroyer!
2 of the 3 machines even got rid of their network provider connections = saved ISPS.
Now, Melih?

What's up, Tiger Lilly? (I only hope there's no rootkitty involved yet, well, it's still Comodo we're talkin' about, right, brother?)

Cheers. Even if feeling somewhat disappointed now.

The REBOL.

Yes, he's back (for the moment).
