I was excited when I first started trying it, but it failed to detect any/0 of the bad URLs I threw at it. Sad

Most were Malicious Re-Directs and Exploits.  Thumb Down

URLVoid, AVG Linkscanner/AVG Threatlabs, Dr. Web Online, Web Of Trust, McAfee Siteadvisor, Anubis, and even Norton Safe Web/Virus Total/Etc did better. Sad

But today I see that the look and features of Comodo SiteInspector has/have improved, so I hope that its ability to detect Malicious Re-Directs and Exploits has improved as well. Wink

I hope that y'all continue to improve Comodo SiteInspector and I hope that y'all maybe even make it into an Extension like Web Of Trust or something in the future and/or integrate its list of known Bad Websites into Comodo DNS because it is during pretty bad in the tests I have seen & done myself and/or maybe it can be part of a Web Shield for CIS and/or it can be integrated with CIMA. Sad  Cheesy

Keep the improvements coming and get the Community involved if possible, and thank you for providing this service. Smiley

There were few updates of SI, mow:

-it has a black list (recent detections - detected sites from last 48 h),
-it uses some black lists to detect a malicious website (Google, MLD, malc0de etc.)
-AV engine scans every file which is downloaded by the browser,
-scripts are scanned with AV and if they found to be malicious, site is determined as a malicious,
-igeneral improvments.

Try it!
And use feedback future to report mal. website which wasn't detected by SI.

Thousands of times, thank you! I love this feature, hope it will be Integrated in CIS 6 along with the VALKYRIE feature (I mean unknown files to be submitted to VALKYRIE not to CIMA and known bad websites to be blocked by Site Inspector)

As a web developer, I'm interested in using this to monitor the *important* sites I work on.  Where do I find details about monitoring multiple URLs?

I see you can sign-up 1 URL for 365 days... what if I wanted to monitor 5 URLs?

we will have a "paid" version that will allow you to have multiple sites with varying frequency etc around end of June.

I will start to use it when its detections are going to be added to SecureDNS blacklist within 24 hrs after they occur.

With url blacklisting, 24 hours is a very long time. The exploit/malware/etc could be gone by then. Noticed a lot of brokent/non-existing links in MDL? Norton SafeWeb adds its defenition to Norton DNS within minutes of detecting, so why not imitate it?

I want to add this Addon to Firefox, would use IceDragon but it doesn't support some of my addons and its full of bugs... and i got tired of having to replace an entire browser over some update. to bad its deeply embedded into icedragon and not just an addon that can be used in other Mozilla based browsers
