Offline CIS 4 RC installers.
Why?... because the online installer won't let you download the installers unless you have already uninstalled CIS.
Really needs to be fixed guys.

Thank you for this, I'm glad someone has had the sense to realize the importance of an off-line installer.

 Yes totally agree & from a Newbie with 5 posts no less,
that's worth an automatic Comodo's Hero 8 Star upgrade.
That one post is more valuable to me than a 1000 from a Hero,
so lets also give this person 2000 bonus posts as well.

Just out of curiosity is there a link for just the Firewall 4 Download,
that's all I need??? It would be nice if they could finally strip away Defense +& just give us a stand alone Firewall at some point, but I really do appreciate
Comodo giving us a great free program, so I can live with it.

like the one PrettyHot supplied.

Maybe you could tell me,if I do the online install of Comodo Firewall 4 Standalone installer,is the .exe file saved in the temp folder etc. so that I would not have to download again.

When you run the tiny installer, you can select the directory for the file download, use the default directory (Comodo Downloader) and even select not to run the installation after the download completes. Just read the menus thoroughly. I just tried it and unfortunately, you will still have to uninstall CIS.

Can you please tell us the size of each of these downloads? I downloaded the 64-bit version (42,788,352 bytes) but it failed to install properly!

As an aside, during the download of the on-line installer, turn on the Windows firewall!

Any idea why my 64-bit version didn't work?

During install, at the point of installing the kernal, the program "ended prematurely because of an error. I tried it twice and got the same result both times!

I am using Win 7, Home Premium, 64-bit, lots of memory and disk space (although I do install the program to another partition that the C: drive).

I am now trying to install the on-line version.
