Did you perhaps have 3.5.x installed before ?
Can you post a screenshot of this ?

When you say this do you mean that it tells you that it is version 3.5 when You Click on About
I know when I click on About in the Miscellaneous section of Comodo it tells me version 3.10

Emachines 4084, 2.8Ghz Dual Core
XP Pro SP3 Up to date hotfixes

CIS v3.10.102363.531 (VS-DB 1809)

-----------------

ClamWin v0.95.2 (On Demand)   !!! POTENTIAL PROBLEM !!!

When ClamWin is scanning, sometimes CIS jumps up and gives an AV alert.
Clamwin can create files in the temp directory even when no malware is
found by Clamwin BUT CIS interprets those temp files as malware.

   Example files names below:-

      C:\Documents and Settings\John Smith\Local Settings\
      Temp\clamav-19c807c2ce27a038874021693b9504b7.00000264.clamtmp
(NOTE TO SELF:- Scanned file:- AutoStreamer.exe v1.0.33.0)

      C:\Documents and Settings\Fred Bloggs\Local Settings\
      Temp\clamav-9114c602ec6cf38a07d5be50a136e77f.000004c0.clamtmp\autoit.011
(NOTE TO SELF:- Scanned file:- RVM_Integrator_1.6.exe)

The above is when the original ClamWin scanned files (in 'NOTE TO SELF')
were found to be clean by both ClamWin and CIS.

I suppose that in the case of eg "RVM_Integrator_1.6.exe", that ClamWin is better at
pulling the executable apart but does not have the malware in it's database, BUT,
CIS does have it in it's DB but is less well equipt to pull it apart.

Strangly, a file that IS flagged as malware by ClamWin, does NOT invoke a CIS alert,
but then it is not flagged by directly by CIS either.
(NOTE TO SELF:- wursetup.exe [Windows Update Remover - tech-pro.net])

In this case, maybe it's just that CIS does not have it in it's DB.

Perhaps this is not so much a compatabilty problem, and more a mismatch in their
   capabilites.

CIS (full installation) running here with Windows Defender (real-time protection on), AVG Linkscanner standalone and MBAM free with no problems whatsoever Thumb Up.

Some time ago I reported that CIS wasn't showing all active connections with Linkscanner installed but now the problem seems to be gone.

Best regards

Now i am trying CIS(just firewall & defence+) +KIS2010 (kaspersky) installed just antivirus+ virtual keybord.Working  good without any conflicts and special rules.
*KIS should be installed first, or you should  disable comodo  from auto-start and  delete comodo uninstaller key from registry.

Comodo Firewall and Defense+ works perfectly with Sandboxie 3.39.04 now.  With previous versions of Sandboxie, Defense+ caused Sandboxie to fail several POCs, where processes within the sandbox could terminate processes outside.

Hi DragonMaster Jay,

You can search for “Spyware Terminator» and there are several related threads
Most of them are dated 2007 and 2008

The following is quite old thread and you know that changes in versions can bring “specifics” but at that point there were no problems. Little Mac is the one who can be trusted   Grin (I'm giving 100% guaranty re: that statement) and I hope he will reply about current situation in case he is still using it
https://forums.comodo.com/empty-t6964.0.html

But .. there are reports about some clashes as well, so basically have a look at those. The Search gives me just one page of references currently.

Probably it would be better if you post the version of the Spyware Terminator you are using and  more detailed description of problems that you are facing in conjunction with your current CIS installation.

My regards

I removed Spyware Terminator several months ago. I no longer use an antispyware, because I do the scanning on my own.

However, I already saw where the two were clashing. It was because both of them have HIPS technology embedded in the architecture of the software.

I was using Vista at the time. Had some system hang-time from ST.

After doing some testing, I figured ST was not a good idea to use with CIS, even with HIPS disabled.
