Can you elaborate on 'a bit crappy'?
As for a new version, the next major update is due toward the end of the year (CIS 2011).

That's a bit of a wait for those of us who are waiting on certain bug fixes .

[at]Maxxwire There'll be interim releases for bug fixes, etc. if required before the major update version.

[at]SpeedyPC Alas I can't give you any new features,I'm just a mere forum mod, but you can always post a feature request. Wink

Andyman would you please help me deliver this request because CIS is choking up on log files build up otherwise it cannot breath very easy, I've notices it not speeding up when I need to see some of the logs and not everything it getting slooooow.

SpeedyPC- Have you exercised your option to have selected rules not be logged when they are fired?

I just DLed what I thought was the latest (920), but the byte count is wrong.  On the web site pointed to in the thread, the byte count is given as Size: 58 MB (60,334,536 bytes), but the DLed file is 57.5 MB (60,306,376 bytes)  (cispremium_installer_x64.exe).  So, what is correct?  Why are the MD5 and SHA1 values not posted?  Thanks, John.

Now that CIS has switched back to an .exe installer, my .msi install switches no longer work.  Is there a set of silent and configuration switches for the new .exe installers?  Thanks, John.

I have used version 4.1.150349.920 since it was released with no problems.  This afternoon I came back to the PC and found an update notification from Comodo.  I attempted to install and it keeps stalling at the copy of cmdguard.sys.  Comes up with an error 0x80072efd.  When that failed, I tried to uninstall Comodo and reinstall.  Upon reinstall, Comodo keeps coming up with error message "the network firewall is not functioning properly. Please run diagnostics utility to fix the problem" I run the diag utility and it says it fixed all problems BUT firewall still does not function!  I attempt to update the AV thinking that that is what is causing the problems but it fails with a "Update failed.  Error Code 0x80004002.  No such interface supported."  HELP!! Huh Huh Huh
