I hear a lot of people worried/thinking that what's DACS is doing is gonna lead to a Litigate.
You/Comodo is sure no other Av can take legal action against what DACS doing?

more than happy to hear what other AV companies have to say and we will always comply with the law. We employ over 700 people and have been in business over 10 years.

And we are more than happy to make DACS available to all respectable AV companies so that their users can benefit from it.

And we do have a very big and powerful legal dept Wink

Oke, thanks for your response:) It will be interesting to see how other Av vendors will react to DACS.
I hope they will react positive, and understand the principal behind DACS.

The question is: Why wouldn't they want their users to benefit from the better detection DACS offer?

If they don't care about their user's security and more about $$ they will fight DACS. If they truly care about their user security (while still making money by providing good service), then they will use DACS.

Hopefully some Av vendors will understand what you're saying, and work together with you Thumb Up
I'm afraid though that some Av vendors will go for the $$ and try to take legal action against DACS. O well we will have to see how they react.

First of all thanks for releasing this.

I have made a custom scan with CCE and at the end some FP's were found, I tried to get the veredict of this files from the different engines but I couldn'f find any option, seems that none of the files were uploaded and the system was just scanned with CAV engine.
So my question is what is wrong? I though that CCE gui would be something like hitman pro.

Then with killswitch if I press on propierties veredict for all the files only the basic scanner appears, where are the other? the files are only scanned when they are unknown? if CAV detects them like malware they are not scanned either?

CCE is about automatic cleaning...and KillSwitch is about manual cleaning...
CCE will do things automatically on the background..

you can see the DACS feature in KillSwitch by clicking on Properties and then click on Verdict tab..

Yes, only executable files (unknown files) are uploaded and checked by Comodo Cloud AV, CAMAS and DACS
