I'm using Defense+ in paranoid mode. I need to go to this dialog pretty often to adept some settings,

I agree: I'm also in paranoid mode, and this warning is annoying because I need to go there very often.

Suggestion: do not display this warning when in paranoid mode.

+1

The box should be not be displayed in Paranoid mode since the user has already selected an advanced option.

I would have no problem if I could check "Never show this message again" the first time, as it is solved with the GeekBuddy windows.

Is this a clean installation?

Run this clean up tool in Safe Mode and try again.

[Old bug]The 'oem(num).inf'(inspect.inf) Number can not be re-used

install COMODO Internet Security (OEM INF created. ie.oem2.inf)

uninstall COMODO Internet Security
[SetupUninstallOEMInf - oem2.inf] (setupapi.app.log)
>>>  Section start
      cmd: pnputil.exe  -d oem2.inf
<<<  [Exit status: SUCCESS]

but, the OEM INF Number can not be re-used (after any new hardware or software drivers)

if rename other inf file to oem2.inf
start pnputil.exe  -d oem2.inf
Get error : The specified file is not an installed OEM INF.

one uninstall one number
release your OEM INF Number please.

I've installed Comodo 5.10.228257.2253 twice on my computers and both times it went as smooth as silk plus all of my rules and settings were in tact so I didn't need the backup copy that I made which I needed to use with the installation of previous versions.

Totally agrees, I'm in Safe Mode and this is the most annoying message I ever saw.

- Even the password protection activates only once (when restored from tray) compared to this alert.

----
P.S: And generally the alert should appear 'after' D+ is unlocked with a password, not vice-versa.

The installer of Comodo Dragon has grown. May be they included a more up to date version of Dragon.

There's no new release as yet just a slightly larger version of the v5.10 release we already have which now includes a larger installer for the Comodo Dragon browser.
