Say Hello To My Little Comodo !!!

« Reply #15 on: June 02, 2010, 12:25:48 PM »

So I can install 4.1 on top of my 3.14 version ??

Can any 3.14 user confirm this ?? Is there any problem, can settings be kept from 3.14 without problems !?

Cause I hate to wait untill monday 7th for the automatic update !

Yes. It will backup your configuration but activate the default recommended one. You cn simply switch to your old configuration using the right click menu after that.

Indeed.  The program still is not how I would like it, but I appreciate the efforts in providing an improving free security suite.

Thank you for this release. CIS Premium is working very well and it is very quiet.

Thanks for the new version, Comodo Team.

I haven't tested this new version yet. But I have a couple of questions about the installers.

I assume that the COMODO Internet Security Premium includes both FW and AV, COMODO Firewall Only includes FW only and COMODO Antivirus Only includes AV only (just like the names indicate).

So my questions are: Why COMODO Internet Security Premium (FW & AV) has the same size with COMODO Firewall Only? And why COMODO Antivirus Only is bigger than COMODO Internet Security Premium?

Not a big deal, just plain curiosity. Thanks.

Well I am sure Comodo will be truly grateful for such enthusiastic support.

Something's wrong here...
I have Avira AntiVir Premium installed and I tried to install Comodo IS 4.1 without AV.

It says I have Avira Security Suite installed, which is not right.

What should I do? Should I use the Comodo firewall only setup ?

Comodo 4.1 still vulnerable to screen capture (4 different methods), webcam capture and audio recording.

Reported 1 month and a half ago:

I received the update notice just now, it offered to display release notes as well but when I clicked on that link it only opened notes on the previous release (which I already have).

Yes. That's what I said above. The link seems to be always to <http://personalfirewall.comodo.com/release_notes.html> but this is my first try at CIS. Anyway, whatever the link target is, it should be updated *before* making updates available.

Genny.
