Now that CIS is out.. the CIS team is building a new roadmap for new features. So it will take time.. it won't be weeks..

Hi Melih, nice work on the CIS final, but as you may already be aware of there remains several issues with it that need to be addressed before it moves further, I've posted in Antivirus bugs (major flaw there), Antivirus wishlist and Defence+ wishlist 1 post in each that would IMHO render the current CIS really top notch, I'll anxiously be awaiting those additions, again your guys have been terrific, keep up the good work...
Cheers & regards Melih Cheers

That's what I truly appreciate about Comodo foremost and above all, a CEO that's implicated and cares dearly about the products (read gifts) that he and his team work so hard to offer "Free" to all of us, the meaning of a company in my heart and mind is: a group of individuals with a common goal and mindset!
Comodo ROCKS!!!
Regards again & cheers Melih! Cheers

At first I was disappointed, but then I realized bug fixes should have a higher priority than features.  Wink  I guess the reason I was disappointed at first is because I haven't found any bugs.   Laugh

I've used Outpost and Eset. For Outpost  i have a lifetime license because of betatesting before releasing version 1  and for Eset i payed. So i can't believe that this one is free and  it's working great so far. Oh yes, there are wishes, but so far i like cis.

Chapeau to the team  Thumb Up

it doesn't remove the COMODO folder becuase there could be other COMODO apps in it like boclean, cmf, etc.

Wrong answer Wink It could easily verify whether the folder is empty. And, what about the desktop icon? Tongue

most definetely...
we have 4 large teams concentrating on the following
1)AV engine team, in further improvements on the AV engine (client side)
2)AV Lab team (working their back sides off creating an amazing amount of signatures, thanks to everyone helping with sending their malware library, now we have just under 2M malware files!:) ) (thats a lot!!!!)
3)AV Lab Infrastructure team: setting up an amazing back-end to process files efficiently
4)CIS team (a HUGE team that has sub-teams underneath) working on getting Threatcast, CMF etc putting in CIS.

And the above is just the overall CIS team... Smiley

Comodo deserves nothing but the utmost respect for the efforts to bring us (the users) top quality software, for free. I wouldn't even want to guess how much time and money went into the development of these products over the past few years.

I really hope all this work has some "monetary advantages" (i.e. brings in extra money) for Comodo, somehow.

In this instance, yes I am. Don't get me wrong, I respect Comodo's efforts at creating excellent security products, but because they're so good, such a small blemish stands out... in addition to being an irritating nuisance.
