I bet a lot of users would like to see how CIS or only CAV performs in some tests, like AV-Comparatives or others from independent testers.

What do you think about that?

Only when AV-Comparitives people answer our questions about their test methods as they promised they would.....

Export your settings, uninstall CFP 3, install CIS, import - done!

I did that, no problem – except for one small annoyance: uninstalling CFP does not remove the desktop icon, nor the COMODO folder (now empty after uninstallation) under Program Files. After installing CIS I find myself with two Comodo desktop icons, one for CIS and one for CFP (which no longer points to a valid file). Like many people I have a strong aversion towards programs that don't clean up properly when removed... Angry

it doesn't remove the COMODO folder becuase there could be other COMODO apps in it like boclean, cmf, etc.

Congrats on the release. Now focus on engine upgrades and signatures!

most definetely...
we have 4 large teams concentrating on the following
1)AV engine team, in further improvements on the AV engine (client side)
2)AV Lab team (working their back sides off creating an amazing amount of signatures, thanks to everyone helping with sending their malware library, now we have just under 2M malware files!:) ) (thats a lot!!!!)
3)AV Lab Infrastructure team: setting up an amazing back-end to process files efficiently
4)CIS team (a HUGE team that has sub-teams underneath) working on getting Threatcast, CMF etc putting in CIS.

And the above is just the overall CIS team... Smiley

What about other independent tests?

Are you interested in determining what CIS can protect you from or what AV detects? (they are 2 very different things).

thanks

Neat...it's very great to have a wonderful CEO giving info to you.  Grin  (V)

Do you happen to know when some of the features the CIS team is working on will be out?? (If not, about when. Example: Like might it be in 1 week or 1 year.)

Now that CIS is out.. the CIS team is building a new roadmap for new features. So it will take time.. it won't be weeks..
