WOW, is all i Can say after reading some of this! First those concerned with the signatures and comodo, should take some time to go to any of the "big named av" companies forums. You will see this is not an isolated problem, and what is worse is the end users are paying for that. Comodo properly set up will completely protect your system. Installers and updates can be run straight through the sand box itself, seriously limiting any possibilities of anything piggy backing through. If you set the sandbox to restricted or higher, you will be just fine. I myself have tested many AV suites, comodo is the only one that has never let anything through my system, and it is free! I cannot seriously understand all the complaining I read in this forum, the comodo company is providing some of the best security available, and not charging you a dime for it. The firewall and defense plus set up properly, more then make up for any signatures that may not be in the data base as of yet.
Take the time to go to youtube, and watch some videos, look through some other security forums, where some of comodo's members are, Take time to read through this forum, many have offered more then enough advice on how to set comodo up for the best protection capable! I for one am grateful for this company and the service they provide!  I have two facebook pages, i run, one of the biggest targets on the net today, and have yet to be infected. Personally I think that Melih and the Mods and all others here that help, deserve a lot more respect then they have been receiving!

dude, you are for sure the only one who is protected against the gpcode (an example), just by having this opinion about my statement. if its so false, go on, run it. (everyone else, dont do it!!!)
i wasnt wrong in what i meant, and i didnt "kowingly spread lies" (wasnt that an accusing of doing lie???). so i was right to write about the new situation.
"an antivirus can be important" is in this case a fact. it has a name now, and you still describe it as "FALSE"? i dont say it to say something about comodos protection. i just speak about antivirus.

for me is the most important part of protection, to know about possible holes/bad decisions ect.

btw, no need to play detective in your free time. i usually edit my posts until they fit. and if i edit something in reaction to later happenings, i mark the related part as EDIT. in this example i added something about the sandbox..... .... while gpcode needed extra settings for the sandbox... who knows what the future brings... better close eyes and say "yeah, perfect now!" Huh? or what did you try to tell me?
i am able to correct a post, so i edit. you not?

you didnt get my point anyway. my theoretical point got a name, a real example which was even more dangerous than my thought.

i stand up for a justified opinion. if thats thin skin for you, you should allways take an opinion of someone else.... never yours! Cheesy

you are right. its the only company where i write in their forum, because its worth it Smiley  ... i liked the most that the program is able to become better.... and to become better, you need to know what could become better Wink .... a "yeah" helps for the moment, a "wait, look!" could help in the long term.

"If there is a problem, it`s something interesting. Try to circumvent or fix it.
In the old ages there was no support. That`s why we got the brain we have today.
Otherwise we would only be able to call a number and listen."
