FP is nothing to worry about, I find it even good that FP are there; this makes you check if the downloaded software is safe or not, which takes on min to check

I calculated how great the FP is by calculating (FP/total), in otherwords (513/404783) = 0.001267 which in % is for about 0,1267, so not that much.

FP is nothing to worry about
I respectfully disagree as:
1. CIS silently deletes any downloaded file when CIS detects it to be malicious.
2. If any useful file is falsely named malicious then it can be rather dangerous to the user or the system: deletion of important info, or sys file,  etc.

CIS doesn't delete anything without your approval. Depending on your settings, it can silently quarantine a file. You can always remove the file from quarantine if you feel it is safe.

FP is nothing to worry about...
Try telling that to anyone whose PC has become unbootable or an important application stops working just because their antivirus has incorrectly deleted or quarantined a critical file. Most average users would not know how to fix this problem.

FPs may only be a minor inconvenience to knowledgeable users, but the vast majority of average users would have no idea how to verify if a file is really malware.

I doubt very much that CIS would FP a system file that is safe but it can happen.

I don't know everything but many of the obstacle I have met I have solved by looking or by asking.

But I get what you say, and FP can be unpleasant.

No!! it was several times that I download a file and it silently disappears, no quarantine, no warning.

That's why CIS get weaker points in some tests - it sometimes rely on a user's decision. Not everyone is so smart to understand what he is asked and answer correctly. A good security prog should work by itself without troubling a user.

I don't know how often people install/uninstall but CIS is quite even if I have higher settings than by default.

I don't think it requires alot of IQ is required to read what is says and the given recommendation. But I know a few people that are not interested of knowing of interacting with the AV. So the will of interacting with the AV is also needed.

I think CIS very good even it requires my interacting, so this feature doesn't say anything if it's good or not.

CIS is on the right way to get adapt to the mainstream and keeping to good old powerful stuff Smiley
