Comodo did great in blocking malware in this test. In fact it was the best:

On the second page is the comparison chart (2011 Antivirus Malware Blocking Chart).

Malware removal was not great but enough.

And hopefully it is incorporated with CIS...  Kiss

At the very least, if it is a separate application, it should be bundled with the CIS installer so there is nothing further to download if you get an infection.

Being told that you have malware and to clean it up you'll need to download another application doesn't fly...  What if the infection you have has killed your connectivity?  Police

being infected while using CIS?Huh?Smiley

CCE will be launched as a stand alone product first. Once it matures, it will be added to CIS.

Sure. If someone answers an alert incorrectly they could let malware in. Or perhaps they have installed CIS because they have an infection.

Hopefully it'll mature quickly. The more full-featured CIS is, the better!  Thumb Up

no bad at all from comodo, I think it would have made the test more complete if lets say they also included a proactive part, where lets say they randomly pick 10% of the missed malware for each AV and then they ran  them to see how the software protects you. We all know comodo would have stopped pretty much everything. This test leads you to believe that avast free edition provides you with better security then CIS does and we all know that is just not the case.
