I hope the developers and Comodo take their sweet time so they are absolutely sure CIS 6 works better than CIS 5.  Until then, CIS 5 is perfectly fine.  I don't care if CIS 6 doesn't come out until next year or 2014 as long as it is a superior product.

Comodo has a great set of people working on CIS as history has shown. I am confident that when CIS 6 arrives it will be something that will be worth the wait.

and our developers have been working so hard on this, it is unfair to them as well. Please guys think about hard working developers who are going the extra mile to deliver you a top notch security product, lets be supportive of their hard work.

thank you for your understanding.

Keep up the good work, we will always support your efforts.

After spamming in this thread due to anger, I am now being patient Wink

I hate lines like it will arrive when its ready/when it'll arrive

On one hand its right that it will arrive when its ready but this shouldn't mean indefinite wait & should have a definite time frame, right Roll Eyes

CIS already is far superior to Webroot, so a few more months development on CIS will
make it even more so  Thumb Up

And Shadow Defender + Sandboxie + LUA is far superior to Comodo too, so what?
Besides, getting to know other programs ain't a bad thing either.

I cannot agree with the previous post:
comparison of NSG001 of CIS vs Webroot is correct as they both of the same type,
comparison of JakeGreen of CIS vs Shadow Defender + Sandboxie + LUA is not correct as they are from different classes

And I cannot agree with previous post because, to my knowledge, Webroot does not have
HIPS, but instead is a traditional signature antivirus, where CIS is having D+ which is HIPS, along with Antivirus.

More accurate, but not perfect comparison would be Webroot vs Norton, while for CIS would be Online Armor or OSS or Kaspersky.

Now, you can "secure" your machine to be fort knox, but then productivity on that machine would be dead.

Now, from what I read here about CIS6 from Mr. Melih, it sounds like it's gonna be a serious competition to major players.

Here's a tricky question: Would CIS 6 participate in various tests such as AV-Comparatives?
And seeing that Kill+CCE would be integrated into a suite, that means end of a separate clean and keep clean products? If I remember, you cannot rely on a product to clean your computer if it allowed a threat to do harm to your computer?

Why? CIS 6 will be CIS 2013 and beginning with the beta test in aug is not that bad and will be released dec or 2013
