I was never against having Flash and the PDF built-in, I was against that he was only suggesting those 2 and leaving others out. (Chrome does this, so we have to do/have this.)

Woah, when did flash start getting installed ?

Its not so long ago I started using Dragon instead of SRWare Iron, and at that time the only plugin installed which I questioned about was the 'Remoting Viewer'

Just checked dragon://plugins

and now we have flash in there, I disabled them on the plugins page and it now reads ..

Is Dragon still a privacy respecting browser or is there a bit of mission creep seeping in here ?

Auto updating, installs flash, so with each update we are going to have to check its still disabled ?

And note, even though I disabled the plugin, shockwave flash does not have (Disabled) after it - So is it or isn't it ?

If you are still producing a privacy respecting browser - Offer them in the installation so that we can un-check them please. Preferably un-checked by default.

And please also do not offer up just a forum suggestion of manually deleting a file telling users to unhide system hidden folders to find them etc etc - The solution to getting rid of these should be up-front in the installer.

Shockwave is what we need for games.
If you mean 2 Flash, yes, I saw 2 of them and disabled the one built-in. The second Flash was removed during the update, maybe I clean-installed 17.3.

It is back on 17.4?

Right, I also remember supporting the Remote Viewer removing idea.

You can disable the "Automatically Update" in the options.

Plugins / games / apps .. Obfuscated mechanisms hiding the true purpose of their existance - marketing and advertising, behavioural targetting/tracking etc, LSOs and DOM storage all with the same "exciting prospects"

Apologies, but flash and its Action Source (used to be ActionScript until it got overhauled to be more devious) / real time high speed data communication / click map (which no longer has any tell-tale giveaways that it is operating) ... Makes me see red.

Who ?, I certainly dont.

I use it to play games online, or it nags me to install it in order to play.
Of course, if you do not play games online, there will not be a reason for you to have it, true.

Agreed true - However I did not install it, Dragon did.

Flash I do not install.

When I first started using Dragon I was very pleased to see on the plugins page there was no flash.

I have not checked the plugins page for a while, but after seeing your comment above had a look at the plugins page ..

And now I have flash installed which I was not aware of.

If I want a browser that does not respect my privacy, and installs the worst offender out of all the plugins by default, I would use Google Chrome.

I do not use google chrome purely for this reason, and now without any warning Dragon is installing flash.

Previously it did not ...

The only plugin I have installed and allowed is the VLC Media player plugin http://sourceforge.net/projects/vlc/

For more popularization of your brand by Dragon browser - please, add options in your browser: when browsing, use -custom's or -provider's DNS in -network's -connection's properties simultaneously with existing option in browser - Filter of malicious domain names (Comodo DNS).
So, it's may be realize also with additional browser's options:
- who (what DNS service) 'll be main?
- who 'll alert in browser's window when site's Ban verdict of Comodo Secure DNS = verdict of custom's or provider's DNS in -network's -connection's properties? Because it's may be important for user to choose better for him DNS' interface when he look details of DNS' double site's ban's reason by both DNS services.

Please, also decide questions with optional choose of disk and memory cache's manual/auto size's optimization and: when browser's shutdown, if it's not decided yet optionally without full history's auto-cleaning - full browser's disk cache's auto-cleaning.

Also it's 'll be good if the browser's cache place optionally by kinds of media into the memory without disk. Including kinds of video.

If possible, please, realize option: with maintenance of Comodo Dragon's interface - switching between browsers' engines to more up-to-date version of also instanted on PC Google Chrome. Of course, with notification for user about his own risks.
Because delays of Comodo Dragon's version from actual stable Chrome.
You will not have law problems because there are exist examples of interface's or engine's integrations to other browsers.
