So you hate Google but still use the Google's code to develop Dragon? Shocked You can develop you own code then. Grin Cheesy
Who was this aimed at?
I hate Google just for the fact that I get told to "Google this" and "Google that." Seriously, grow up guys, I use Yahoo!, it's irrelevant to tell me to search under the name of another.

Privacy things I cared less. (I hate Google for something not important, when privacy is more important)
Once Dragon is developed, it becomes something new, unless something is still directing to Google.

That's actually a very good point!

Google Chrome has Omnibox suggestions, sync, multi-profile Google logins, and auto-update checks that are all directed to Google.  Have all of these been turned off in CD?

I had a chance to think about this recently.  CD has Omnibox/address bar suggestion/prediction right?  Are address bar keystrokes being sent to Google and are the suggestions coming from Google?

This is exactly what I was going to mention. Grin Cheesy

But anyways, I do NOT mean to stir up a heated fight between CD and Google. So this is my last input in this topic:

1. If you hate Google and "Chrome is what we want to avoid.", then do not use their code and develop YOUR own. Obviously without the Chromium code from Google CD would not be made possible. Cry

2. I think it is NOT the CEO's intention to hate Google. His sole intention is to develop a good browser for all to share and "spread the love".

3. From my viewpoint Comodo and Google (and all other major companies) should all work together in harmony so that they can reach their own goals. Otherwise, just as the CEO said sometime ago -- we would only be helping cybercriminals.

This is my 2 cents.

They are working with Google on some occasions. If you have Ghostery, you can see Google Analytics is ranking on this site.
Being anti-Google, I don't support your idea and they can get code from other sources. But yes, it's still derived from Google's Chromium, so it's still partially Google somewhat. It's better this than Chrome, though, to my POV. Comodo is a security company, don't assume that they need to work with Google on the occasion of "cybercriminals," more like they should be asking advice from Comodo's security team on that behalf. The "other major" companies comment I support.

Working in Harmony with Google = No point of Dragon.

after i have logged in on this web site: http://dark-warriors.net

and hit my account at the top of the page, i get this error message

"Error 128
This page has been blocked by Dark Warriors to ensure the safety and security of your account and the accounts of others. Please make sure your reffering URL (the page you just came from) is a Dark Warriors related page (make sure you have a www in your URL, just 'dark-warriors.net' wont work).

Still getting the error? Chances are you've got a firewall or some sort of antivirus software that blocks Dark Warriors from seeing your reffering URL. You'll need to disable it or add Dark Warriors to the 'white' list, or you wont be able to play."

however i don't get the error message in google chrome which is now using the same core as dragon.

also on this part of the site: http://dark-warriors.net/chat.php the chat is jumpy but it's not in chrome

I don't use Chrome. Does it have the option to block referrer headers? Because Dragon does.

Since you can't whitelist sites from this feature, I'd suggest disabling it and using an extension such as NOREF to handle your referrer blocking duties, because it has whitelisting capability.

no chrome doesn't have the option. i don't use chrome either. disabling the suppression fixed the issue. thanks. i think it's ridiculous to have to use an extension just to get whitelisting for suppressed referrer but i may do it as long as they don't have whitelisting in dragon. adding whitelisting to wishlist for dragon

I agree that more configurability would be nice.
