I may have lied this is in version 1.5 .... Lesson of the story, use the old version? Smiley

[at]Budda. Yes i noticed the same over a week ago, and Dacs is indeed still  included within CCE.What is puzzling about this is.Why bring out a new version 1.6 and Comodo state that Dacs has been removed for the time being and then have Dacs continue in an older version?.You would  have thought that  Comodo would have stopped access to Dacs somehow, perhaps not use the volunteers who use the avs in connection with Dacs.

Also no changelog that i know about was ever issued on the new version about improvements or bug fixes. That being the case, what is the point of the new version?.CCE in its old form is a much better tool in my opinion having Dacs within it.

Perhaps some Dev from Comodo would like to explain the logic of bringing out a new version, no changelog, and discontinue Dacs, for the time being, but then let us have access still via the old version.

Also will Comodo Cleaning Essentials be listed on the main Comodo site soon?

[at]Privet It's a false positive from the two engines.

Its interesting that Killswitch and Process Hacker are both getting false positives, I've had difficulty getting antivirus company's to remove the 'Win32.PHack' signature being applied to Process Hacker.

Sunbelt labs decided to mark Process Hacker as a Trojan after I asked them to recheck their signatures and remove it from VIPRE: http://www.sunbeltsecurity.com/ThreatDisplay.aspx?name=RiskTool.Win32.PHack&tid=4737934&cs=43AA8F05F52D43301B4A69CAC5DAECC3

Sorry, I can't start a new thread... Why not?

I know that a friend of mine has already offered, but, if you need/want, I can make the translation of Comodo Cleaning Essentials into Portuguese (Brazilian) as I have already done the Comodo Time Machine one.

Valkyrie took priority.

DACS is still on the cards...its just that Valkyrie was too amazing and we had to get our resources to releasing Valkyrie..our Mods are playing with it and soon  you can too.

Melih

will dacs only scan what's in memory or will it scan anything that is unknown to comodo

Hi trscaeg. At the moment Dacs scans only in memory.I understand that may change to scan all files if and when it is implemented within Cis realtime, in future.Apparently Dacs is now not working in the new 1.6 release, see my previous posts, and works in the old 1.5 version, in memory.

Not sure yet what is going on. Can you try cleaning cache and cookies of your browser and restart it. Then log in again here and see what happens.

No, tested with IE and Firefox. Both browsers completely empty (cookies/temporary files).
Tried the refresh (Ctrl-F5), nothing.
Still no new thread button.
