Hi, I am getting BSODs with CBUF.sys when modifying files inside my true crypt volume. Mounting the volume is fine its just when modifying files inside it. (copy, rename, paste, save etc)

Windows 7 home premium 64bit
CIS latest version

I resolved the issue by uninstalling Comodo Backup, so it is currently not installed.

Thanks

I think it's also important to know if the user has CIS installed and "Block fragmented IP datagrams" active.
This is known to cause trouble on NAS devices and Streaming Media boxes.

Lisa can you check the following, open CIS GUI, Firewall, Advanced, Attack detection, Misc
And see if "Block fragmented IP datagrams" is active? If so can you please untick it and see if a restore still gives "code 4"? Please remember to switch it back on after the test.

Hi , I'm sorry I was away for a little while.

The NAS is a  device with a raid array, a network device. I don't know much more as I'm not the hardware vendor or  maintainer. I work remotely maintaining one software system and the backups for it.

I don't know what CIS is. If it's tAnother Comodo product, then no. I only have comodo backup installed.

Regarding any other firewall settings, I do not see any other firewall running on this server.

I do appreciate your atttention on this matter.

Regards,
Lisa

Hello,

Can you please tell us what is NAS in your case? Is it just a network mapped drive, or is it a hardware device (hard disk storage that is set up with its own network address)?

And also tell us what is the source of the backup you performed.

Thank you.

It is a hardware device. When restoring I've tried both the mapped drive letter and UNC.

I dont' have any real particular details of the device other than it's almost 3 TB and is a raid array (not even sure which raid level) I am not the vendor for the harwdware, I maintain a software system and it's backups.

Thanks,
Lisa

Win 7 64 bit; I have my text DPI set to 110% of default, which works fine with the old version. This version, however, notifies me in an error window that my text size is not supported, and asks me to change it to either 96 or 120 DPI.

I responded to this question a couple of days ago... is there any more information I can provide that could help shed some light on this issue? Am I really the only one who has experienced this?

thanks,
Lisa

I am facing the same bug as the initial Rev 2 releases with the GUI fill space and windows controls in the top right becoming white, and and functionality is transparent to the desktop.

Be sure to include:

- Your Operating System (and whether it's 32bit/64bit);------------Windows XP Pro
- Other Backup & Security Software Installed; ----------------Trend Micro Enterprise
- How you produced the problem;---------------Open up Comodo
- How you tried to resolve the problem;---------------begin a backup, immediately beginning or clicking used to prevent the problem
- Screen-shots with the error (if any);-------------------see below
- Post Memory Dumps on crash if you encounter any;
- file system (FAT32/NTFS/...)
- All log files;
- does Diagnose in Settings tab says the application is installed correctly?
- Any other Additional Information;

Adding a few more details on transparent screen concerns.

I am running a custom Firefox theme and style.... not sure how that could affect CB.
Windows background is a custom image, with black color, standard Windows fare

Screen resolution on the notebook is 1280x800, more when using an external monitor
DPI is 96, on the notebook

Adapter is an Intel Mobile GMA 4500MHD

I believe that Janez had the same or similar issue on revsion 2.0.108800.9

A 'resolution' on this would be great, pun intended.
