I downloaded the leaktest (Cpil.exe) ran it and wrote something.
It opens a webpage with this message:

Quote
Your firewall didn't pass the test and transmitted information to our website.
You typed: esting|http://comodo/|http://firewall/|http://leaktest/

This time it was useless information - next time it could be your credit card number or other sensitive data being passed to a hacker.

Comodo Personal Firewall 2.0 is the only firewall to pass the Parent Injection Leak test with its default settings.

Actually I typed "testing Comodo firewall leaktest". But I did not get any warning from Comodo Firewall!?

Am I supposed to do any rules for this leaktest?
I am using the latest beta, but the result was the sam on the official build.

I posted the same thing today, apparently the reasons for the "failure" are already known; well, I won't speak too much, just read about it here.

For the beta you have to put "Component monitor" at "turn on" instead of "learning" mode to catch this specific leaktest. Wink

Thank you both for your replies. I did the registry thing that was suggested in the post Bullhorn was refering to and it did the trick. Now Comodo Firewall gives me an alert Smiley
I did this before I had the chance to read your reply pandlouk. Yours was a bit easier sollution though Smiley I will put it on "turn on" I guess I dont need learning mode anymore anyway.

Cheers

Btw, pandlouk, while we're at it, could point me into the general direction of a thread that will explain me the difference between "turn on" to "learning mode"?

Sure. Take a look at:

Heh, I'm just trying to learn as much as I can about Comodo, I became a fan so quickly.

Half my posts were in one troubleshooting thread that I made, anyway. Nerd
