Launch pad startup problem

Hello,

ive googled my problem, but haven't found an answer yet, i hope you can help me.

I have been using comodo for some time now, but just now I can't open Launch Pad anymore to make a visur scan in Anti-Virus. When i click Launch Pad, a small error window pops open with no message, just a cross in a red circle (the generic type of error mention in windows).
Then a white window opens and in my tray it says that that white window with nothing is the Launch Pad...

where does the problem lie? I have already reinstalled Anti-Virus, but that does not get me any further.
