Hi, i'm pretty new to computing but i'm trying to download this product but keep getting "comodo was installed using older version of installer" mesage so i'm at a loss for what to do...Can anyone help ?....

I've moved the post on the guess that this is about Comodo Internet Security correct ?

Have you been installing other Comodo products on your system before ?
And what version are you trying to install now ?

Hi, yes i have had Commodo system cleaner installed for two weeks latest version.  Also 'yes' is was about Comodo Internet Security.  The version i was trying to install was 3.11.108364.552.XP Vista x64 . Hope this helps ?

I have done some searches on this error and it looks like normally this only happens when the same product was installed with a previous version so System Cleaner should not cause this on CIS.

Did you have a CIS and/or CFP 3.0.x installed before trying to install 3.11 ? and how did uninstall go ?
It probably left some registry-key's where the current installer is now complaining about.
