5. A very big hug to the one(s) creating this CIS-uninstaller!   It did a fine job for CIS_5.5 basically nothing to improve but it would be fine creating a log-file to see which damned files blocked CIS_5.5 from reinstalling.

Logging Ability will be available for next version

There is always something to improve, thus that is why in the next version there will be Database Updates to update the database for newer versions such as 5.8 or a new product

Hello Peter;

When at the console prompt simply click on the window (Any where) then press 1 (If you agree to the disclaimer) or press 2 (If you disagree) if you enter 2 then the tool will close.

I am unable to turn off the sandbox, etc. since the Comodo main screen does not respond.  Can I still use the tool?

Hi splashhhh,
You should be able to disable sandbox by right click CIS icon, but if this fails you could run this tool in Windows safe mode.
It is recommended to run CIS built in uninstaller first if able to.

As Captainsticks said, You would have to disable the sandbox before you run this tool, If you cannot do it via Notification Area (Right Click the Icon > Sandbox > Disable) then you'll have to boot into safe mode,

As Also that's been stated, Please try to run the Built-in Uninstaller first

Tray button inoperative as well.  Also, unable to use uninstaller without shutting down program, which I can't do.  I'll try the program in safe mode.  Other uninstallers (CCleaner, RevoUninstaller, Advanced System Care) all use the Windows Installer/uninstaller Service which is unavailable in safe mode.  Thanks.

Hi Jacob...
I tried your uninstaller using safe mode but the setup would not run for some reason.  It did run when I first downloaded it in regular mode.
I'm running windows xp (sp3).  CIS appears to be working, but the main screen freezes on boot.  Also the tray icon is frozen.  Tried the CIS uninstall, but it requires CIS to be shut down, which I don't know how to do without using the (frozen) main interface.
