HI everyone.
I installed comodo firewall a few weeks ago now. but i had the idea to put a password. Know that i forgot it, it's impossible to do anything with comodo. all the commands are locks.
i already tried the "regedit option" that ask to change a value from 1 to 0. but nothing change.
I'm using windows seven home premium and comodo version 3.13
Thx !!

Sorry it appears to have come more complicated in later versions of CIS

1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Software\Comodo\Firewall Pro\Configurations\Your active configuration\Settings, change value 1 to 0 by pressing modify on entry PasswordEnabled.
Check whether value is 0 for PasswordEnabled entry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Software\Comodo\Firewall Pro\Configurations\0,1,2 or 3\Settings.

2
You also have to change the PasswordHash the easy and safe way I think is to copy the hash from one of the non active configurations and paste in the active one.

By changing the 1 to 0 stops the password, but the hash is still there so you have to input the password once to clear which is no use to you.

Is this problem in Comodo Time Machine? If so, please start a topic in the board.

That way you will have more chances of getting an answer.
