I'm using CIS 3.5.  Does anyone know how to get rid of the annoying little balloons that pop up in the tray when antivirus is updating and is finished updating?

You can't disable them.

I guess that right-clicking the tray icon and unchecking Display Balloon Messages would get rid of it. I'm using the latest version of CIS, and I've never seen any message when the virus database has been updated.

According to this post, the AV balloon pop up and the D+ balloon messages are two different things, and the Balloon message setting doesn't pertain to the AV balloons.  (Huh)
