I am heavily invested in the stock market and the only thing that comes to mind is :

IPO

I would think that being a " Private Limited" company does not let you access the type of funds that you could were you a public offered company.

If you want to grow Id say go from a "private limited" to a "public limited".

I tell important people about Comodo and without it being public it loses validity (unfortunately).

I am a shareholder of Versign and Secure Computing Corporation among other equities

I would think you would want to be extremely visible in the US market.  The UK market does not drive the World Economy (nor does the US )

That'll really make the company grow.?

Donations should always be an option. That is a no brainer.

Just send your $$$ here:

Hi,
I got an idea to generate revenue from CAV updates. I'm not sure if somebody have posted this kind of idea or not. I think CAV's database update should be limited, one update per day, except for critical updates. For users who want to update CAV for more than once a day (such as hourly updates), should pay a subscription fee. What do you think? I also agree with some people's idea about  the merchandise.

Best regards....

hi, im new here, and i havent read all posts here
just my thought,
comodo verification engine mostly check for fraudulent sites
comodo can develop a comodo siteadvisor like what mcafee siteadvisor does and offer in free and pro version
comodo also can combine 2 become comodo safesurfing engine (moreover can combine with anti-keylogger keyboard) checking for fraudulent and malware sites then offer under free and pro version.
if like that ill switch from mcafee to comodo coz  Love Comodo

There is really no point in trying anything. Reason: Keygens, Patches, Cracks and Serials posted on the internet.  Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

You can't really crack donations and you can't enter a serial for merchandise.

Here is my idea, wait, I forgot it. Laugh Laugh

Here is Comodo Google

I wonder what else should we write in Wikipedia about Comodo... I read it at Wikipedia recently, and... it's so short Sad... Should we write something like history, company profile, product comparison?

the best way to generate revnues is through advertising and what a better way to do it than a very secure brower, I think comodo has the best products when it comes to software and all that you provide is much much better than any shareware on the market, for years I used zone alarm and it was same problem, true vector error, comodo firewall beats the hell out of every firewall out there.

                                                                                      many thanks

How about offering the product free for home use and charging commercial users?  It doesn't have to be much, but every little helps.

Besides, most businesses can afford a few bob.

Btw, new here! Just signed up so I can get info about release dates for Comodo, Vista 64 Bit version. Never used it before but saw you got very good rating in a recent shoot-out so thought I'd give it a try.  Hope the 64bit version isn't gonna be long.

This is the first Time I noticed this thread.

AS I metioned to you before Melih, in a PM, a network managment console for CFP 3.0 would make it a kick ass. Network program.

I think this might be acomplished with remote reg and some how accessing the DB for the event logs. This might help avoid having to put agents or mibs on all the client pcs although that could just be part of installing CFP as a client instaed of stand alone.  I think agents are more secure but not exactly sure.
Remote reg scares beacause of security leaks in this scenario  but I think possibly you could lock Remote reg down by limiting it to a single IP  in Application monitor

I just hope I can afford it for a small network on a limited budget Wink

How about offering an Ubuntu based OS that is delivered with complete security apps defaulted in the installation.  (Ubuntu Secure)  This will become an extremely popular OS.  OEM's will want to offer this on their PC's.  Charge a small fee to license to OEM's and charge end users for support options

HI,

Just joined, haven't read all replies yet. I have an idea on how to generate revenue.

Charge for support. People can now set it up alone, or have advise for a fee. corporate use might really boost up revenue, if you can manage the products from a central point in the organisation.

This way, you are also included more in the wishes of users. that way, you can also plan development.
