I have been using forums for many years but, in the Comodo Firewall help forum, seems to display posts from say October 2006 BEFORE newer posts even though I have updated my profile to show newest posts first. Makes finding news t post a bit difficult.

Thats strange, are you sure they aren't sticky topics you weren't looking at?

Well not found what I can tell but I am unsure what the sticky icon in this forum software look like.

Especially when the icons make no sense visually nor is there any mouse over context help.

Hi frustrated

You're right. There is a bug on the forums where the Sticky Topic marker is not applied to the topic icons. You're also, as far as I know, the first person to notice this. Grin
