Thanks for the help Dean
I did miss those questions...
let me answer them:
1)there is no support relationship.. they are responsible for their own support.
2)their sales tactics: It is very difficult to create a process to analyse the sales tactics of a potential licensor. This is why we try to address it in the contract as much as one can legally.
I would like to ask Arthur to tell us how they sell their stuff so that we can hear it from horse's mouth.. tbh, I do not know how they sell, nor have we validated how they sell, even though we do have some protection in our contracts.
I believe we are making good progress in an effort to put some visibility to the issues raised. If you look at how this thread started with malware issues and now we have identified the issue to be a possible sales technique etc..
So more than happy to continue to discuss.
Thanks
Melih

Thanks so much, for the honest (and quick!) answers. I will be waiting, with interest, to see Arthur's response and other input from the Comodo community.

I remember when Microsoft decided to sell Windows to China for $2 each.
While many were upset, I always wondered what Microsoft selling Windows to the Chinese had to do with how well XP ran on my machine, or how that would affect my security while browsing the web with IE...
We all know that the deal went through regardless of the pleas of a minority of users, although I am not sure if BillG popped by every once in a while to calm a subset of his supporters...
As I have nothing else to say on this subject, I will just say, Good luck, Melih!
You have a far more difficult job than mine.

I don't mean this in a snotty way, but if your only concerns tend to be, "how does this impact me?", then you are unlikely to have a big issue with many of the more serious problems that surround us. (And I am not suggesting that Comodo's relationship with PCSecurityShield is one of the more serious issues or problems.)

Call me a troll if you will fanboys.
Some guys, including me know much much more then the propaganda.
Comodo and Online Armor are there for a REASON, the American government is propagating them invisibly. Thousands
of "fanboys" who are part of the machine are spreading the holey word on a minute basis. There's no way back.
Both are mistically financed instances making billions giving you the idea of free security, but the truth is not so shiny, it's beyond your darkest dreams.
I will recall myself :
Don't forget that Comodo was hyped with the help of investigation agencies. Their backdoors are strictly followed by your beloved firewall called Comodo.
Greetings,
A secured "troll"

ROFL!
Aha, now I understand.
This is the thread for all the crazy lunatic conspiracy theorists.
I think I should join axl and make hasty retreat before it is joined by people trying to tie Comodo with JFK, 9/11, Area 51, Abominable Snowman, Illuminati etc.
My old friend Dean is even suggesting aluminum helmet, lol!
Hey buddy, did you get your info on PCShield while wearing one of those shiny hats?

Sorry Dean but i would rather trust Comodo and it's security people and the members on this forum than a web site that tells me to put on a foil hat.
I was simply recommending the site to Kebab. I thought it fit well with his conspiracy beliefs. I wasn't suggesting it as a site for Internet security info. But, then i thought that was obvious.

Alright guys, I've been following this thread since the beginning and it has proved quite interesting. Unfortunately, I think this thread has devolved substantially into people bickering back and forth. While bickering clearly does not violate the forums terms of service it is not helpful or beneficial to the community at large.
For this reason I will lock the thread. Should Melih have anything to add I'm sure he will, in the meantime please lets stop this.
Sincerely,
Dave

Sorry, but that was too good to pass up!
